The National Federation of Public Benefits Organizations (formerly, National Council of NGOs of Kenya congratulates the President for the step he as taken not to sign to Finance bill 2024, the Federation is deeply concerned with the ugly scenes that was witnessed in our motherland Kenya. we urge the those involved to operate within the law. We call upon upon the political and opinion leaders to be a voice of reason for the nation and not to always take advantage of ugly incidents in our nation. The Public Benefits Organization National Federation of Kenya strongly condemns ugly incidents that was witnessed and calls for peace and stability in our nation moving forward. The Federation has at the same time mourned the death of scores of people shot dead during the running battles between police and protesters calling for calm and return to peace in every part of the nation. Our hearts are with the families of those who have lost loved ones and others nursing serious injuries as we pray that God gives them the strength to bear the tragic loss and enable those in hospital swift recovery.. we urge all stakeholders and wananchi in general to appreciate that we only have one country and if it goes down the road of total destruction then we shall all lose. Lets all Maintain Peace and harmony in our nation.
