I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude to you and everyone who joined us in person and also via online as we marked International Youths Day on Monday, 12th August 2024 held at our offices located at Nyayo House,Nairobi.
Your presence and support you accorded us truly made the day special and impactful occasion.
It was inspiring for us to come together to celebrate and advocate for youth empowerment and engagement.
Whether you were with us physically or virtually, your participation played a vital role in making the event a success. We were able to discuss youths and the digital world.
We discussed among other issues challenges youths go through and opportunities as a result of technology.
During the discussion, we were able to come up with some strategies that will help our youths. Some of these strategies are:
◦ Create support networks and resources for youths facing online challenges, such as helplines and counselling services.
◦ Advocate for stricter privacy policies and data protection laws to safeguard young people’s online information.
Thank you for being a part of this meaningful organisation. We appreciate your dedication to promoting a brighter future for the youth is commendable.
