We met with the Nairobi regional commisioner in a board meeting where he advised and supported us on the International Peace day where the main event was to be held in Kamukunji grounds, Honourable Katie Mwanza advised
us on the importance of peace in economic growth and prosperity of the city and the country as a whole and commended the National council for incorporating many youth in being at the fore front of peace in our country.The regional commisioner also provided security for us as we walked to Kamukunji for taking part in celebrating peace internationally.Present in the meeting were various organizations such us Asha Foundation, Global Partnerships Organization and various regional peace keepers.
