Hosting of Dr. Nyeris Raymond

The National Council of NGOs today briefly hosted Dr.Nyeris Raymond, PhD a Commissioner and Vice Chairperson of the Kenya National Commission of Human Rights (KNCHR.

During the courtesy meeting we held an extensive discussion on how we can pursue a Partnership with the Kenya National Commission of Human Rights (KNCHR) in order for us as nation we advance the Agenda of Human rights in the Country. NGOs and other CSOs in Kenya play a key role in promoting and safeguarding human rights. During the courtesy meeting We further deliberated on Peace Agenda in the Country and specifically in Kerio Valley and all other parts of the nation.We shall work with other stakeholders to champion human rights and Peace.We shall on Wednesday 13th April 2022 convene to discuss Peace agenda with other stakeholders in the Country. The National Council of NGO Council in Kenya remain committed to working with stakeholders in the Country for betterment of our society.
